QuoData - We Let Your Data Speak
Last week from April 13th to 15th in Dresden, Germany, the Final Meeting of the Proficiency Test (PT) on Forensic Determination of Shooting Distance (FDSD) of 2015 took place at the head office of QuoData.
The registration phase for the international ENFSI proficiency test on the identification of gunshot residues (GSR) using scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy has closed. This year has seen nearly 60 laboratories from 29 different countries take part. In the coming weeks, the samples will be prepared and shipped.
The dates for QuoData’s 2016 workshops are now available. As in every year, the workshops focus on proficiency testing and method validation. Our presenters have been actively involved in standardization processes at ISO regarding PT and method validation for years. Participants thus receive insights into the latest requirements outlined in the most common standards for the planning and evaluation of such studies and realize these requirements by working with QuoData’s software solution, PROLab and InterVAL.
In conjunction with Dan Tholen (contributor to the revised ISO 13528:2015 and a liaison for ILAC), and AIHA PAT (AIHA Proficiency Analytical Testing Programs), QuoData’s first workshop on the revised ISO 13528: 2015 has come successfully to a close.
August 2015 saw the release of ISO 13528:2015, which included a major overhaul in the statistical methods used in proficiency testing. In line with this, QuoData, Dan Tholen (convener, independent assessor and ILAC Liaison) and the AIHA Proficiency Analytical Testing (PAT) Program, will jointly hold a workshop to educate those involved in PT on the changes.
From 23-25 September, QuoData will once again hold its Workshop for the Evaluation of Interlaboratory Studies in Dresden, Germany.Die internationale PROLab-Community trifft sich bei QuoData – Ringversuchsworkshop 2015
