QuoData is once again in charge of the organization and evaluation of the annual international proficiency test "Identification of GSR by SEM/EDX" on behalf of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI).Registration to participate is open to all forensic laboratories until 31 March 2015.

The GSR2015 PT is part of the GSR (Gunshot Residues) Quality Scheme. This program enjoys worldwide laboratory reputation. The aim of the proficiency test is to support laboratories revealing inaccuracies at the detection of GSR particles by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM). That way error sources may be determined and afterwards eliminated and thus, the laboratories' performance may be improved.

Within the proficiency test, QuoData offers a web service which allows the usage of the PT sample for continuous internal quality management.
